Miguel Alejandro Híjar-Chiapa

Professor-Researcher at the Department of Pacific Studies of the University Center of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Guadalajara and Member of the Center for North American Studies. President of the Australian and New Zealand Studies Association of North America (ANZSANA). Since 2016 he has been Visiting Professor at the Edward A. Clark Center for Australian and New Zealand Studies of the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Master of Arts in Social Sciences with specialization in International Relations and Pacific Studies from the University of Guadalajara.
Areas of interest: International Relations Theory and the Foreign and Defence Policies of the Anglosphere countries (United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand).
