Curriculum

Professor-Researcher at the Department of Pacific Studies of the University Center of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Guadalajara. He received his PhD from the Free University of Berlin (Germany). Since 1995 he is member of MENSA International.

Member of the National System of Researchers Level I.

Areas of Interest: Economic Relations between Mexico and Japan and Political Economy of Agriculture and Food. He is a founding member of the Center of Japanese Studies (2016) at the Pacific Studies Department.
